All users
All users lists all user accounts. For each user account it shows:
The username
The full name
Whether the user account is enabled
To which models the user has access
Whether the user account has access to the IT Management Console
How many roles the user has
The authentication provider for the user account.
Caution
If you want to delete a user from your Active Directory or Local User Directory, for example, because they have left the company, it is recommended to delete or disable their Angles for SAP user account before deleting them from the Active Directory or Local User Directory. Otherwise, the user will remain enabled in the Angles for SAP system, and will still count as an active license.
Importing new users
Click Import new users. Note that for authentication providers of type ADFS and SAML, new users must first log in to Angles for SAP in order to proceed with this procedure. Users can only be displayed after logging in.
The Authentication providers window appears.
Select an authentication provider. If the authentication provider you are looking for is not in the list, you can check its availability in
→ .Click OK.
The Add user window appears.
Select one or more user accounts.
You can use wildcards to search for partial matches. The asterisk (
*
) represents zero or more characters and can be used in any position in your search phrase:Before the search term
*pa
will return all names that end withpa
, for example, Lily Lupa.After the search term
pa*
will return all names that begin withpa
, for example, Patricia Miller.In the middle of the search term
p*a
will return all names that start withp
and end with a, for example, Peter Bologna.
You can also combine all of these options to create a custom search phrase. For example,
t*m*b*
will return Tim Brown as well as Thomas Shelby.Note
The case-sensitivity of the user search depends on the authentication provider:
If you search users in a local user store, searching is case-sensitive.
If you search users in an Active Directory, searching is not case-sensitive.
Check whether the Set roles are correct. Hover over a role to see which model it belongs to. These are the roles that will be assigned to the users. You can add or remove roles by clicking the cell and selecting or deselecting roles in the window.
Click Add.
Repeat steps 4 through 6 to add additional (groups of) user accounts.
Editing or deleting a user account
Click Edit.
The Edit user window appears.
You can now:
Enable or disable the user account
Note
If you disable a user account, all their data, including private Angles, Dashboards, Displays, settings, personal notes, and stars, will remain in the system. If you enable a user account, all their data will be restored.
Set an enabled until date
Select the default business processes for the user
Change the roles of the user
Click Show consolidated role to view the authorizations granted to the user by the assigned roles
Click Delete to delete the user account
Caution

If you want to create a backup of the user's data before deleting a user, contact the Angles for SAP Service Desk.
When deleting a user, note the following:
The private Angles of the user will be deleted. These Angles cannot be restored.
Published Angles made by the user will remain available in the system.
It is not possible to delete all users. Deleting the final user will render the model unmanageable.
Performing a mass change
Select multiple users by Ctrl+clicking.
Click Mass change.
Select whether you want to add, remove, or set roles. Hover over a role to see which model it belongs to.
Select the roles by clicking the cell and selecting roles in the window.
Click Save.
Once the system has applied the changes, a mass change report is shown.
