How to transfer Angles from one system to another

Downloading Angles

In the Web Client, you can download one or more individual Angles. Note that it is not possible to create packages through the Web Client.

To download one or more Angles
  1. In the Search Results pane, select one or more published Angles that you want to transfer.

  2. Click Angle actions and select Download Angles from the drop-down list.

    The Download Angles window opens.

  3. Click OK and click Save.

    The Angles will be saved in the default download location of your browser.

Importing the EA package

To import the EA package into the IT Management Console
  1. Navigate to Global settingsPackages.

  2. Click Upload new package. A file explorer window opens.

  3. Navigate to the package file that you wish to upload and select it. A package file has the extension .eapackage.

  4. Click Open. The package is uploaded to the system.

Exporting the EA package

To export a package from the IT Management Console
  1. Navigate to Global settingsPackages.

  2. Click Create new package. The Create package window opens. Note that you can only create a new package unless you have the Manage model privilege, see Privileges.

  3. Select a model, the content, and optionally change the package name and ID. Note that when downloading this package any existing package with the same ID will be overwritten.

  4. Click OK.

    The package will be saved in the default download location of your browser.

Activating the EA package

To activate the EA package for a specific model
  1. Navigate to Models[Model name]Packages.

  2. Select Inactive in the top right corner above the list. The list now shows all available packages that are not active for this model.

  3. Find the package you want to activate and click MC_Down.png in the Action column.

  4. Select Activate.
