Export to Excel
Note
This functionality is only available if you have sufficient privileges. Your privileges are maintained by your system administrator in the IT Management Console.
The default Excel datastore contains the settings used for data exports to Excel by users from the Web Client. You can use the system default, choose another available datastore, or define your own default datastore if you have sufficient privileges.
In the Default datastore field, select the datastore you want to define as the default for data exports to Excel from the Web Client. The settings on the rest of the page are automatically filled with the settings of the datastore that you have selected.
Note
If you do not have sufficient privileges, you cannot select another datastore. You can only customize the
Export to Excel - Default
datastore. If necessary, customize the datastore settings:
Enter an Output folder for the export file. Note that the specified location must be a full file path on the Application Server. Make sure to choose a secure location. Test if the location is available via Test connection.
Define the settings for this default export. See paragraph 'Export Angle to Excel' in the topic Datastores for a description of the fields.
Note
Note that you can choose to leave the following settings empty and instead enter their specifications in Automation tasks when you schedule the execution.
Click Save. The updated default datastore is now available.
