How to enable Go to SAP

The Angles for SAP Go to SAP feature allows users to jump directly to an SAP transaction straight from the Web Client.

Prerequisites

Before you can use the Go to SAP feature, Go to SAP must be enabled and he SAP Launcher must be installed.

To set up Go to SAP

  1. Enable Go to SAP in the IT Management Console:

    1. Open the IT Management Console and select Global settings → Web server settings.

    2. Select Enable Go to SAP and click Save.

  2. Install the 'EveryAngle.GoToSAP.Launcher' in the Web Client:

    1. In the Web Client Top bar click WC_Settings_Icon.png.

    2. Open the System tab.

    3. Under Go to SAP click the Download Launcher icon WC_Download_Angles_Icon.png.

      The EveryAngle.GoToSAP.Launcher will be downloaded and by default placed in the folder C:\EveryAngle\GoToSAP.

    4. Double-click the downloaded file to install the Go to SAP launcher.

Configuring your SAP credentials in Angles for SAP

If the user's SAP credentials are known in Angles for SAP, the user will be redirected to the active SAP session without having to log in again. If the credentials are not known in Angles for SAP, the user will have to log in to SAP every time he/she uses the Go to SAP feature.

To configure the SAP credentials

  1. In the Web Client Top bar click WC_Settings_Icon.png and open the System tab.

  2. Enter the SAP user name and Logon language.

  3. Click Save.
