Angles for SAP IT Management Console

How to enable a language

You need to make languages available before you can enable them in your models.

Adding languages

To make languages generally available
  1. Navigate to Global settingsLanguages.

  2. Click Add Language.

  3. Select the new language from the drop-down list.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each language that you want to add.

  5. Click Save.

Adding a language will only make SAP objects and fields available in this language. The Angles for SAP content will not be available in the added language.

Enabling languages

Once a language is generally available you can enable it for a specific model.

To enable a language for a specific model
  1. Navigate to Models[Model name]Languages.

  2. Enable the languages that you want to be available in the model.

  3. Disable the languages that you do not want to use in the model. Angles created in a disabled language only are not visible in the web client.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for every model.

The new language is available in all Angles except the validated ones. Those Angles need to be validated again before the language becomes available.
