Angles for SAP Web Client

Filter pane

Angles for SAP contains a large number of pre-defined AnglesDashboards, and Templates out of the box. Daily use by your organization will further increase the number of available items. There are various filter options available that are essential for finding the correct information. You can also mark your own favorites and a collection of predefined quick filters is available.

The filter pane consists of the following sections:

You can show/hide this pane by clicking WC_Hamburger_Icon.png next to the Angles for SAP logo. Your setting will be remembered the next time you log in.

Business process filters

Angles for SAP is business process-oriented. All AnglesDashboards, and Templates are labeled to belong to one or more business processes. Depending on your installation and access rights, the search results will only show items from the active business processes. When you have access rights to more than one business process you can decrease or increase the number of search results by selecting or deselecting one or more business processes. See also Business processes. Note that when you select all business processes this will have the same effect on your results as when you deselect all business processes.

The following business process filters are available:

  • Purchase to Pay

  • Supply to Demand

  • Order to Cash

  • Finance to Report

  • Plant Maintenance

  • Quality Management

  • Human Capital Management

  • Governance, Risk and Compliance

  • Information Technology

Tags

You can add custom tags to your Angles (see Editing the tags) and your Dashboards (see Editing the tags). You can then use these tags and tags that other users of the system have created as additional filter options (see Filtering the search results). A collection of the tags that are used most often is displayed under the tag search.

Additional search labels

Your system administrator can create additional search labels and label categories in the IT Management Console. The following image shows two label categories, Angle purpose and Angle type, each with one search label:

These additional search labels are only visible if created on your specific installation. They can be assigned to all Angles, just like the default and user-specific filters above. This increases the number of filter possibilities even more. See also Editing the search labels when publishing.
