Selecting business processes
Angles, Templates, and Dashboards all belong to one or more Business processes. You can change the business processes for items that you have created. With sufficient permissions, you can also change the business processes for items created by other people.
You can see the currently selected business processes at the bottom of the Details pane.
To add a business process, click
and select the business process from the list. Do not add irrelevant processes as this will unnecessarily expand the number of items in the search results. It may also allow users who have restricted access to a certain process to execute the Angle.To remove a business process, click X on its label.
If you have saved your Angle before, the changes to the business processes are saved automatically. If you are customizing a new Angle, make sure to save your changes when you have finished.
Note
If you edit an Angle that is linked to an automation task, you will get a confirmation prompt to indicate this. If you have edited one of the Displays in the Angle, the confirmation dialog box will list all changed Displays. Deselect a Display if you do not want to save the changes you made. If you have sufficient privileges, click
to open the corresponding automation task in the IT Management Console.Only save your changes if you are aware of their impact. Changing an Angle that is linked to an automation task may cause the automation task to fail.
