Filtering an Angle, Display, or Dashboard
You can add a filter to Angles, Displays or Dashboards directly to extract the business information that you need.
You can add new filters from the Details pane of an Angle, a Display or a Dashboard.
If you add a filter to an Angle, it is applied to all the Displays in that Angle.
If you add a filter to a Display, it only updates the result for that Display.
If you add a filter to the Dashboard, it is added to the list of filters in the Filter pane, and the Dashboard widgets are updated.

You can execute filters on a widget only if they are applicable.
